Sangriento Negroni
Sangriento Negroni
“si tú quiere' que te toma, toma”
Okurrr! It’s time for a super orangy Negroni. While a Negroni can be a rather…acquired cocktail for some, due to it’s bitter taste, we encourage you to try this one. Using Las Naranjas Sanguinas - Blood Orange Gin, you get an intense sweet tang from the blood orange and a subtle herbal kick from the hibiscus and rosemary. Not your average Negroni , but that’s what we’re all about.
Las Naranjas Sanguinas - Blood Orange Gin is distilled with blood orange, pink grapefruit, hibiscus, rosemary & juniper. Each of these flavours can be amplified by a few simple ingredient changes for the Negroni. Like more pink grapefruit flavour, we’ve got you covered, try using a grapefruit a apéritif like Pampelle. It can all be adapted to your taste profile. [High Strength Drink]

50ml - Las Naranjas Sanguinas - Blood Orange Gin has a balanced profile of tangy, tart and herbaceous. Starting off with a sweet tang from the blood orange and hibiscus flower. Then followed by the tartness from the pink grapefruit, ending on a subtle herbal kick from the rosemary and juniper. 40% ABV

25ml - Campari - This is a very bitter orange liqueur, served in a traditional Negroni. Use if you enjoy the bitter side of drinks. 25% ABV.
25ml - Aperol - Similar to Campari, think of it like it’s a less aggressive and bitter mother-in-law. Aperol still has the iconic orange taste, just less bitter. 11% ABV.
25ml - Pampelle - This is a pink grapefruit apéritif. Slightly sweater than Aperol and Campari, while still having that gentle bitter taste like Aperol. Also…it’s a really nice pink colour! 15% ABV.
These can be found many retail stores or online. ABV for these products are normally 11%-25%.

25ml - Sweet Vermouth. This is a fortified (wine with a higher ABV) red wine with slight herbal/spice notes. The most accessible one is Martini Rosso. It can be found in most supermarkets.
For this cocktail, we recommend a high quality Vermouth. See below for options.
Cocchi Vermouth Di Torino. 16% ABV.
Belsazar Vermouth Red. 18% ABV.
Belsazar Rosé Vermouth. 17% ABV.
ABV for these products are normally 14%-20%.
Place all ingredients into a mixing glass and add 6-7 cubes of ice in. This is a drink that has to be stirred, not shaken…sorry Bond. The idea behind stirring a drink is to chill it, and slightly dilute it down. Stir for around 1 minute to ensure drink is chilled and diluted. Grab a lowball glass and put fresh ice into the glass (stops over dilution and keeps cooler for longer) then strain the liquid into the lowball.
Garnish with a piece of blood orange (can be fresh or dehydrated). Depending on the apéritif used, you can add in fresh pink grapefruit or dehydrated, if using Pampelle.
