Developed by Nowé Spirits, an independent micro distillery based in Brandon, Suffolk, Mademoiselle Pétale is a rose infused botanical gin designed around fragrance, colour, taste and cocktail potential.

The name Mademoiselle Pétale was inspired by the world of luxury fragrance, classic perfume advertising and the kind of elegant storytelling often seen in high end beauty campaigns.

The word pétale means petal, which felt like the perfect fit for a rose gin built around floral aromas, soft colour and delicate botanical notes.

The story of Belstead Gin started in December last year during a wedding shoot at St Mary’s Church, Belstead. as I was snapping away I struck up a conversation with the Priest in Charge, Rev Natalie West (North Samford Benefice & Archdeaconry Mission Enabler). What began as light conversation soon turned into a shared enthusiasm for gin – and an idea that would grow into something much bigger.

The gin market is oversaturated and crowded. Rows of pretty bottles, endless pinks, florals, and “limited editions” that all start to blur into one. Verstachio was created to fill in the niche and answer to a very simple question:

What if a gin didn’t just look ‘different’ – but tasted like nothing else on the shelf?
