Hold my poodle while I sip my drink! A dessert-like twist on a classic Espresso Martini. The perfect after dinner cocktail; creamy, chocolatey, caffeinated and nutty…what more could you ask for in a dessert cocktail? Combining a creamy white chocolate liqueur, coffee and our signature pistachio gin, this will take your taste bunds on a Willy Wonka style experience…just with alcohol in this time. The edible nutty garnish on top adds to the depth, texture and overall mouth feel of the drink - this is your go to dessert cocktail. [Medium Strength Drink]

  • 40ml - Verstachio is a sweet, rich & nutty gin. This will be your base spirit. ABV 40%.

  • 30ml - This can be found many retail stores or online. For a creamy mouth feel, make sure to use a cream liqueur. Mozart White Chocolate Cream Liqueur is the ideal product to use. ABV for the product is normally 15%-20%.

  • 50ml - Fresh coffee is best for this cocktail. Use fresh pressed coffee or coffee pods from an espresso machine. The fresher the coffee, the better the foam and mouth texture.

  • 20ml - The best part about this cocktail is you can use whatever syrup you have…as long as it suits the flavour profile. Here are some examples on what you can use:

    • Hazelnut

    • Almond

    • Popcorn

    • Gingerbread

    • Caramel

    • Orange

Place all ingredients into your preferred cocktail shaker, add cubed ice into shaker till its half full. Shake vigorously till the outside of your shaker frosts…that’s when you know its correctly chilled. Grab a coupe glass and strain directly in (use a fine strainer to capture the ice shards if you have one at hand so it doesn’t go into the drink).

Garnish with 3 pistachio nuts on top (swapping out the traditional coffee beans) and crushed pistachio nuts. Or…you can swap that out for white chocolate shavings on top, the choice is all yours.
