BeyHive is a short, elegant sip with sweet pistachio at its heart. The spirit leads with plush, nutty depth. Think soft nougat rather than heavy marzipan. It then opens into gentle honey and a snap of lime. Crème de cacao blanc adds a clean, silky body with a rich chocolate finish that lingers without darkening the colour. It’s balanced and moreish, rich enough to feel indulgent, light enough to invite another taste. Served in a Nick & Nora glass, the muted green hue gives it a luxe look that matches the Nowé vibe. Garnish with a fresh piece of honeycomb for aroma and gloss - or swap for fine chocolate shavings if you want to lift the cocoa notes. [Medium Strength Drink]

50ml - Verstachio is a sweet, rich & nutty gin. This will be your base spirit. ABV 40%.

25ml - Creme de cacao is a chocolate liqueur. This can be found many retail stores or online. For this cocktail, make sure you use a clear chocolate liqueur otherwise it will offset the colour. ABV for the product is normally 20%-25%.

15ml - Make sure the honey is lukewarm, or dilute down with a bit of water, to reduce viscosity, so it stops it sticking to the shaker/tin.

20ml - Fresh lime is better than bottled pre-made lime juice. Always use fresh limes for maximum flavour and quality.
Place all ingredients into your preferred cocktail shaker, add cubed ice into shaker till its half full. Shake vigorously till the outside of your shaker frosts…that’s when you know its correctly chilled. Grab a short coupe glass (preferably nick and nora glass) and strain directly in (use a fine strainer to capture the ice shards if you have one at hand so it doesn’t go into the drink).
Garnish with a cube of honeycomb on a cocktail stick. If you don’t want to use honeycomb, not to worry, a few chocolate shavings will work. Each garnish used will elevate the secondary flavour characteristics of this drink, so the choice is up to you. Enjoy, B.
